Our Six Month Smiles system is not for children (and the associated bite problems through growth). This cosmetic orthodontic solution is designed specifically to correct issues of tooth straightness in adults – in a short period of time – by focusing on the teeth that show the most.
Rather than a full series of orthodontic treatments over several years, in just four to nine months (average treatment time is six months) you can have a straight, beautiful smile.
Specially trained in the innovative Six Month Smiles technique, we’ll take impressions of your teeth and order a patient tray kit to ensure that fitting and future appointments are convenient, with little or no discomfort. Clear brackets are bonded to the teeth, while tooth-colored wires gently realign. They are not obtrusive and most people won’t even know that you have braces. You’ll save time, money, and the embarrassment of wearing noticeable, metal braces for several years.
During their treatment phase, we’ll see you once a month to change wires. As we adjust the ligatures, the teeth straighten out very quickly. You’ll see fast results in your appearance.
We do not try to correct more serious bite problems such as angle classification (the relationship between the upper and lower jaw), or the cross-bite in the posterior segment around the molars with the Six Month Smiles method. This is simply a direct route to improving the appearance of crooked teeth.
